Bespoke 1:1 Antenatal Classes in Hertfordshire
Based on years of clinical and personal experience, my private antenatal classes provide the latest evidence-based information for people who want to feel confident and empowered as they prepare for the birth of their baby.
Alongside the fundamentals of pregnancy, birth and caring for a newborn, we’ll focus on the 12 weeks immediately after baby is born, otherwise known as the ‘fourth trimester’ – an important topic that’s typically absent in most mainstream antenatal education.
Learning from the comfort of your own home, these private sessions are completely bespoke and unique to you. As well as covering all the content included in the group classes, you’ll have the time and space to ask questions, request more information and address any specific concerns.
Course content is tailored to your individual needs, but as a rough guide, we’ll cover the following topics:

Who it’s for
These private classes are perfect for first time parents, but people experiencing a subsequent pregnancy are also welcome. Things change quickly in antenatal healthcare, so it’s a good idea to refresh your knowledge and ensure you’re up to date on the latest advice. It’s also an opportunity to address anything you’d like to do differently this time, especially if you’ve previously experienced high-risk pregnancy and/or a traumatic birth.
What’s Included
Consultation Call
A 30-minute consultation call to discuss your individual needs and outline what you’d like to achieve during our time together. Alternatively, this can be done via email.
In Person Sessions
2 x 2hr in-person sessions in the comfort of your own home*
Online Session
1 x 2hr online session.
Support
Ongoing email/WhatsApp support throughout your pregnancy, until the end of your fourth trimester.
Care Package
A carefully curated Pregnancy Care Package containing relevant course literature and samples of my favourite pregnancy treats.
Early Access
Exclusive early access to Your Parent Club resources and events.
*All home visits within 12 miles of Hitchin are included in my fee. Outside of this distance there will be an additional charge of 45p per mile.

Calls and sessions will be held at a pre-agreed, mutually convenient time. I know how busy life can be, so I strive to be as flexible and accommodating as possible.

Please note, Your Parent Club is unable to provide individualised medical care. Your antenatal education is incredibly important to me, but I am not a private Midwife. These sessions should not replace regular appointments with your Consultant, Midwife or GP.
