The Empowered Birth Plan Workshop
A birth plan is a record of what you would like to happen during your labour and after the birth. It can help you understand your feelings and identify priorities.
It also gives you the opportunity to think about or discuss labour and birth with your partner, friends and/or relatives.
During this relaxed virtual chat, we’ll start creating your birth plan together, exploring the options, discussing your choices, and talking through the thinking behind them.
As well as your birth journey, we’ll focus on helping your birth partner advocate for you during labour and spend some time planning for the postnatal period. You’ll be able to ask questions throughout, empowering you to make informed, evidence-based decisions. By the end of the session, you’ll have the confidence to complete your birth plan and navigate labour however it unfolds.

Who it’s for
As well as first time parents, this workshop is suitable for those who have had a previous traumatic birth or anyone who wishes to do things differently as they prepare to welcome another baby into their family.

Your workshop will be held at a pre-agreed, mutually convenient time. I know how busy life can be, so I strive to be as flexible and accommodating as possible.
Please note:
Please note, Your Parent Club is unable to provide individualised medical care. Your antenatal education is incredibly important to me, but I am not a private Midwife. These sessions should not replace regular appointments with your Consultant, Midwife or GP.
